What is OpenStub?

OpenStub is an online service for you to identify yourself in both online and offline worlds. It currently uses Quick Response (QR) Code as the medium to identify you when you go to OpenStub powered events from a local birthday party to an international convention. It also allows you to identify yourself when using mobile phone applications or when signing into websites powered by OpenStub. For web developers OpenStub provides a robust yet rapid solution to develop many useful applications from informational and fun sites to e-commerce and ERP sites and everything in between.

How do we use it?

Various websites rely on using OpenStub to provide them with the platform, fuel and engine to function. Usage of OpenStub depends on the individual application. In general, once you sign up for OpenStub, you can create one or more OpenStub ID that you can use for all websites powered by the OpenStub technology. Thus, it saves you time and energy. OpenStub enables you to conveniently control and manage your data and security. You can update or delete your information instantly. Where can we use it?

Example of OpenStub applications in daily life: Sometimes when you go to an event, you meet a prospective employer, investor and/or old friends and you wish that you have a business card with you "I should've brought my business card". What is QR Code?

QR Code is a popular two-dimensional identification code that has recently become popular in North America because of its affordability, mobility and adaptability. OpenStub allows you to generate, customize, and manage your own QR code for free. All you need to do is sign up.

How to get started?

Please visit our Sign Up page and create an account by providing us your full name, e-mail address, password, and desired picture. When you save your first profile, it will automatically be your default.

How can I modify my information?

Log in using your e-mail address and password and go to 'My OpenStub'. In this page, you can update, edit, add, and delete your information according to the selected profile.

How do I save my default data?

In 'My OpenStub', select the profile name you would like to use to be the default and save it. It will automatically be saved as your default information.

How can I change my security codes?

In 'My Settings', go to the Security tab and modify your Security codes. Please allow yourself to pick 9 (nine) different signs. Out of the 9 signs you have previously chosen, you can pick 4 (four) or more signs for your new security password.

How do I change my password?

Go to 'My OpenStub' then the Account page. There you can change your password.

How do I change my picture?

It is sometimes easier to remember a name using a picture. Go to 'My OpenStub' and choose Photo.

What happen if I forgot my password?

No worries. At the home page, click Forgot my password and we will send you an email that contain the instruction on how to reset your password
